I was born in Galesburg, IL, just across the bridge from Burlington, and try to travel there annually for a family reunion. During every trip, I visit new cemeteries along the way. The cemeteries of the mid-west differ greatly from the mountains of Colorado. It was in the midwest I discovered the beautiful 'new' ones in black dipicting a person's total life in pictures and words.
Hey Tracy! This is a nifty place! Thanks for sharing.

Why do you "dig" cemeteries?
Cemeteries to me are the most beautiful and serene places. A city where all its residents dwell together regardless of race, religion and social status.
About Me:
Taphophile mom of four daughters and four grandchildren. Living in the heart of the midwest and enjoying time spent out in the cemeteries with my trusty camera. I've recently joined Adopt-A-Plot with our local cemeteries; helping out with trash pick up, weeding, reporting vandalism, etc.
